Spoken Songs

Poetry is meant to be read aloud.

This little web page hosts my online poetry corner, containing dead folks' poetry (for copyright reasons), in English (because it's my native language), starting with William Shakespeare.

The weekly poetry corner was fun while it lasted. I'm now off to other projects, and read a poem aloud here only rarely.

Click on a title below to hear a poem in your computer's music player. You can also download the poem to your iPod, phone, or other mp3 player.

If you like what you hear, or have reading suggestions, please send me mail at
